A vehicle bursted in flames in the center of Amsterdam on Thursday afternoon (03/04).
As captured on a cellphone camera video, a red car parked in the center of the square caught fire within seconds.
Shocked passersby saw a man getting out of the burning car, injured and with his clothes on fire.
Authorities believe the driver may have triggered the explosion himself after parking the vehicle.
The injured man was taken to hospital while the cause of the incident remains unknown.

Ένα όχημα ανατινάχθηκε το κέντρο του Άμστερνταμ το μεσημέρι της Πέμπτης (03/04).
Όπως καταγράφηκε σε βίντεο από κάμερα κινητού τηλεφώνου, ένα κόκκινο αυτοκίνητο πάρκαρε στο κέντρο της πλατείας και μέσα σε λίγα δευτερόλεπτα έπιασε φωτιά.Σοκαρισμένοι οι περαστικοί είδαν έναν άντρα να βγαίνει έξω από το φλεγόμενο αυτοκίνητο, τραυματισμένο και με τα ρούχα του να έχουν πιάσει φωτιά.
Οι Αρχές πιστεύουν ότι ο ίδιος ο οδηγός μπορεί να προκάλεσε την πυρκαγιά.
Ο τραυματίας μεταφέρθηκε στο νοσοκομείο ενώ άγνωστο παραμένει μέχρι στιγμής το αίτιο του συμβάντος.
