Multiple people have been stabbed after an attack took place at Sint Nicolaasstraat, Amsterdam on Thursday (27/03). The incident happened around 15:00 pm. According to early reports at least 5 people have been injured.
Authorities cordoned off Dam Square area.
Emergency services sent five ambulances and a trauma helicopter at the scene. According to local media the suspect has been arrested but the motive or any possible terrorist link are unconfirmed.

Πολλοί άνθρωποι μαχαιρώθηκαν μετά από επίθεση που έλαβε χώρα στο Sint Nicolaasstraat του Άμστερνταμ το την Πέμπτη (27/03). Το περιστατικό σημειώθηκε περίπου στις 3 το μεσημέρι.
Σύμφωνα με τις πρώτες πληροφορίες τουλάχιστον 5 άνθρωποι έχουν τραυματιστεί.
Οι αρχές απέκλεισαν την περιοχή της πλατείας Νταμ. Οι υπηρεσίες έκτακτης ανάγκης έστειλαν πέντε ασθενοφόρα και ένα ελικόπτερο τραυματισμού στο σημείο. Σύμφωνα με τοπικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, ο ύποπτος δράστης έχει συλληφθεί, αλλά το κίνητρο ή οποιαδήποτε πιθανή τρομοκρατική σχέση δεν έχει επιβεβαιωθεί.
