Άκρως εντυπωσιακή ήταν η έναρξη του 69ου Διαγωνισμού Τραγουδιού της Eurovision στην αρένα της Βασιλείας στην Ελβετία.
Οι παρουσιάστριες της βραδιάς Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer έκλεψαν την παράσταση.
Ο Α Ημιτελικός ξεκίνησε φυσικά με τραγούδι και εντυπωσιακά φωτορυθμικά στη σκηνή. Η θεματική του Α’ Ημιτελικού είναι “Where It All Began” δηλαδή εκεί από όπου ξεκίνησαν όλα, από την Ελβετία, μιας και ο διαγωνισμός έλαβε χώρα για πρώτη φορά στο Λουγκάνο την άνοιξη του 1956.
Φυσικά η μεγαλύτερη έκπληξη αναμένεται η εμφάνιση της Celine Dion, η οποία θα μεταδώσει ένα πολύ συγκινητικό μήνυμα. Να υπενθυμίσουμε ότι η Dion ξεκίνησε την καριέρα της στον διαγωνισμό το 1988, τραγουδώντας για την Ελβετία το “Ne partez pas sans moi”. Για να δούμε….
Στον αποψινό ημιτελικό το εισιτήριο για τον Τελικό της Eurovision διεκδικούν 15 χώρες, ενώ, χωρίς να διαγωνίζονται, θα εμφανιστούν στη σκηνή και οι εκπρόσωποι τριών χωρών που έχουν ήδη εξασφαλίσει τη θέση τους στον τελικό:
- Η Ισπανία με το τραγούδι “ESA DIVA” – Melody
- Η Ιταλία με το τραγούδι “Volevo Essere Un Duro” – Lucio Corsi
- Η Ελβετία με το τραγούδι “Voyage” – Zoë Më
Να υπενθυμίσουμε ότι σήμερα διαγωνίζεται η Κύπρος, την οποία εκπροσωπεί ο Theo Evan με το τραγούδι “Shh”. Σύμφωνα με τη σειρά κλήρωσης το τραγούδι της Κύπρου θα εμφανιστεί τελευταίο.

The opening of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest at the Basel Arena in Switzerland was extremely impressive.
The evening’s presenters Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer stole the show.
The First Semi-Final naturally began with a song and impressive photorhythms on stage. The theme of the First Semi-Final is “Where It All Began”, that is, where it all began, from Switzerland, since the contest took place for the first time in Lugano in the spring of 1956.
