Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday (20/01/2025).Inauguration day includes a formal swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade and a number of formal balls.
Trump will take the oath of office, likely administered by U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, at 12 p.m. EST (1700 GMT) in front of Capitol,to officially begin their new administration. .Then he will deliver his inaugural address.
Vice-President-elect JD Vance will also take the oath of office, joining Trump on stage.
Trump will then attend a lunch hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
After the lunch with congressional leaders at the U.S. Capitol, Trump will proceed down Pennsylvania Avenue in a motorcade to the White House, accompanied by a procession of military regiments, school marching bands, floats and citizens’ groups. The new president and his guests will then observe the rest of the parade from a reviewing stand.
Later in the evening, Trump will appear at three inaugural balls throughout the city – the Commander-in-Chief Ball, the Liberty Inaugural Ball and the Starlight Ball.
Artists
Carrie Underwood, the country star with the eight (8) Grammys, will sing the national anthem in Trump’s honour on Monday.
Country singer Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio.
American disco group The Village People will perform at the ceremony and at one of the inaugural balls.
Other performers are: Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jason Aldean and Rascal Flatts. Gavin DeGraw ext.
Rapper Snoop Dogg is expected to perform at the “Inaugural Crypto Ball,” the Wall Street Journal reported.

Around 200.000 – 220.000 invitations have been send in the US and around the world to politicians, ministers, diplomats, businessmen and artists for the auguration of the 47th President of the United States.
The Trump-Vance Transition Team unveiled on Thursday the administration’s official portraits of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.
