Famous actor Richard Chamberlain, who was beloved for his roles in series such as “The Birds Die Singing” and “Shogun,” has died at the age of 90.
The actor died at Saturday, March 29, in Hawaii from complications following a stroke. “Our beloved Richard is now with the angels. “How blessed were we to have known such an amazing and loving soul. Love never dies. And our love is under his wings lifting him to his next great adventure.”” Chamberlain’s longtime partner Martin Rabbett said in a statement.
Although he starred in many notable films, including “Petulia,” “The Three Musketeers,” “The Music Lovers,” and Peter Weir’s “The Last Wave,” he never had a major film career and was more identified with the small screen, where he played a multitude of roles from Edward VIII of England and novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald to World War II hero Raoul Wallenberg.
