Potato nuggets sold at E. Leclerc are being recalled across France. They contain mineral oils, potentially carcinogenic substances.
The website Rappel Conso reported on Friday, June 27, the recall of frozen potato nuggets sold at E. Leclerc.
The cause is the “presence of aromatic mineral oil residues.” These can accumulate in your organs, particularly the liver or spleen, and damage them. Worse still, they can cause cancer, alter your genetic makeup, and disrupt your hormonal system, according to FoodWatch.
