Hunters with hounds entered Luc Besson’s property in Orne, where his mother lives, to kill a deer that had taken refuge there. The director announced his intention to file a complaint.
In the images taken by Luc Besson’s mother, several dogs surround the animal on the ground. Then, two men arrive on the property, grab the deer’s antlers and kill it with a knife.
“I’m getting out!” You have no right to kill the deer, you have no right to shoot. Get out, the police is coming,” the 85-year-old Besson’s mother shouts, without receiving any reaction from the two men.

Δύο κυνηγοί με κυνηγόσκυλα μπήκαν στην ιδιοκτησία του Luc Besson, στην Ορν, όπου ζει η μητέρα του, για να σκοτώσουν ένα ελάφι που είχε καταφύγει εκεί. Ο σκηνοθέτης ανακοίνωσε την πρόθεσή του να υποβάλει καταγγελία.
Στις εικόνες που τράβηξε η μητέρα του Luc Besson, βλέπουμε πολλά σκυλιά γύρω από το ζώο στο έδαφος. Βγες έξω, έρχεται η αστυνομία» φώναζε η 85χρονη μητέρα του σκηνοθέτη, χωρίς να λάβει καμία αντίδραση από τους δύο άνδρες.
«Είναι η τελευταία μέρα του κυνηγιού και έτσι (οι κυνηγοί) έφτασαν σήμερα το πρωί στις 9 π.μ.. Ελευθέρωσαν δεκάδες σκυλιά. Έπρεπε να πω στο προσωπικό που εργάζεται στον χώρο να μην βγει έξω όλη μέρα».
«Ένα ελάφι βρήκε καταφύγιο τρία μέτρα μπροστά από το σπίτι της (της μητέρας της). Υπήρχαν είκοσι σκυλιά που εξάντλησαν το ζώο (…). Το ζώο δεν τραυματίστηκε. Αυτοί (οι κυνηγοί) μπήκαν στο χωράφι με μαχαίρια τριάντα ή σαράντα εκατοστών και έσφαξαν το ζώο μπροστά στη μητέρα μου».
