India:One person has died and 13 others were injured when a giant swing at an amusement park collapsed.
The incident occurred at the Surajkund Crafts Mela in the city of Faridabad, India, on Saturday afternoon (07/02).
The tragic scene was captured on video, which shows the giant swing, named “Tsunami”, making two circles on its axis before collapsing. The swing was carrying 26 people, 13 of whom were injured, while a policeman who was at the scene to help hit his head and died before reaching the hospital.
Tourism Minister Arvind Sharma visited the scene of the accident and said that investigations have been launched into the causes of the incident, assuring that strict action will be taken against the culprits.

Ινδία: Κατέρρευσε κούνια σε λούνα παρκ με αποτέλεσμα να σκοτωθεί ένας άνθρωπος και να τραυματιστούν 13 (ΒΙΝΤΕΟ)
Ένα άτομο έχασε τη ζωή του και 13 άτομα τραυματίστηκαν όταν κατέρρευσε μία τεράστια κούνια σε λούνα παρκ.
Το περιστατικό σημειώθηκε στο Surajkund Crafts Mela στην πόλη Faridabad στην Ινδία, το απόγευμα του Σαββάτου (07/02).
Η τραγική σκηνή καταγράφηκε σε βίντεο όπου φαίνεται η τεράστια κούνια, που φέρει το όνομα “Τσουνάμι” να κάνει δυο κύκλους στον άξονά της πριν καταρρεύσει. Στην κούνια επέβαιναν 26 άτομα εκ των οποίων τα 13 τραυματίστηκαν ενώ ένας αστυνομικός που βρίσκονταν στο σημείο για να βοηθήσει χτύπησε το κεφάλι του και κατέληξε πριν φθάσει στο νοσοκομείο.
Ο υπουργός Τουρισμού, Άρβιντ Σάρμα, επισκέφθηκε το σημείο του δυστυχήματος και ανέφερε πως έχουν ξεκινήσει οι έρευνες για τα αίτια του περιστατικού, διαβεβαιώνοντας ότι θα ληφθούν αυστηρά μέτρα κατά των ενόχων.
