Reactions of Iranian diplomacy to the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which is taking place in Istanbul.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi condemned the American attacks, which he described as “outrageous” and noted that Tehran retains “all options to defend its sovereignty.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister, speaking at a press conference at the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Istanbul, stated that Iran is under attack by a nuclear power, while emphasizing that his country does not possess nuclear weapons. And this must be condemned by the international community. The NPT is not capable of protecting us. Unfortunately, Israel is doing what the German Chancellor called “dirty work” and they know this and support it.
“I am not in a position to reveal what we will do in response. All I can say is that the NPT has failed to protect Iran, which has only a peaceful nuclear program”, stated Agahchi.
Agaci said also that he is going to Moscow tomorrow where he will have a meeting with President Putin.
In a recent post on X, Araghchi noted that both Israel and America have decided to “blow up” peace negotiations and diplomacy.

Αντιδράσεις της ιρανικής διπλωματίας στη Σύνοδο Υπουργών Εξωτερικών του Οργανισμού Ισλαμικής Συνεργασίας, που πραγματοποιείται στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, μετά τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στο Ιράν.
Ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών του Ιράν, Σεγέντ Αμπάς Αραγτσί, καταδίκασε τις αμερικανικές επιθέσεις, τις οποίες χαρακτήρισε «εξωφρενικές» και επισήμανε πως η Τεχεράνη διατηρεί «όλες τις επιλογές για να υπερασπιστεί την κυριαρχία της».
Μιλώντας σε συνέντευξη Τύπου στη Σύνοδο Υπουργών Εξωτερικών στην Κωνσταντινούπολη δήλωσε πως το Ιράν είναι υπό επίθεση από μία δύναμη με πυρηνικά ενώ τόνισε πως η χώρα δεν διαθέτει πυρηνικά όπλα. Κι αυτό πρέπει να το καταδικάσει η διεθνής κοινότητα. Το NPT δεν είναι ικανό να μας προστατεύσει. Δυστυχώς το Ισραηλ κάνει αυτό που είπε ο Γερμανός Καγκελάριος “βρώμικη δουλειά” και το ξέρουν αυτό και το υποστηρίζουν.
Δεν είμαι σε θέση να αποκαλύψω τι θα κάνουμε ως απάντηση. Το μόνο που μπορώ να πω ότι το NPT απέτυχε να προστατέψει το Ιράν, το οποίο έχει μονο ειρηνικό πρόγραμμα πυρηνικών.
Ο Αγατσί ανέφερε ότι μεταβαίνει αύριο στη Μόσχα όπου θα έχει συνάντηση με τον Πρόεδρο Πούτιν.
Με νεώτερη ανάρτηση στο Χ, ο Αραγτσί επισήμανε πως τόσο το Ισραήλ όσο και η Αμερική αποφάσισαν να “τινάξουν στον αέρα” τις ειρηνευτικές διαπραγματεύσεις και τη διπλωματία.
