Polish MEP and lawmaker Grzegorz Braun vandalized an LGBTQ-themed exhibition that was taking place inside the Polish parliament,
Footage show Braun, approaching the display boards, throwing them to the floor and folding them in two with his feet.
The exhibition was organized by ‘Tęczowe Opole’ (Rainbow Opole), an NGO that supports LGBT rights.
The incident took place in the presence of the Speaker’s Guard, the parliament’s security force, which has come under criticism for failing to stop Braun.
Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski wrote on X: “As a former Speaker of the Sejm, I do not understand why the Speaker’s Guard did not once again catch deputy Braun red-handed in the act of destroying private property.”
