New shocking details comes to surface about the tragic death of the famous singer and ex member of “One Direction”, Liam Payne. Payne lost his life on 16 October 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in the capital of Buenos Aires.
As TMZ reveils, according to witnesses, a police report, the 911 call and a surveillance video from the hotel, Liam Payne fell from the balcony, that was located on the third floor, because he was trying to escape from his hotel room.
Sources told TMZ that Payne had a serious problem being locked up in hotel rooms, he actually hated that and in September he had escaped again from a balcony. A new footage from the hotel’s cctv shows Liam Payne – being under the influence of drugs and alcohol- being carried by 3 hotel employees back to his hotel room, on 16th of October Payne less than an hour before his tragic death. Heading to his room, Payne told the employees that he did not want to go and stay in the room and he would use the balcony to escape.
On a BBC article on November 8th, it was written that at the 911 call by hotel staff, there was a request for emegerncy response concerning a hotel guest who was overwhelmed by drugs and alcohol, destroying his room. The hotel employee who made that call informed the police that the guest had a room with a balcony and they were afraid that he might do something life-threatening.
In other words, the famous singer warned the hotel stuff that he is going to escape from his room using the balcony. And the hotel stuff knew very well that in his current condition (drugs, alcohol) there was a big possibility for Payne to have an accident.
So one of the main questions that arises is why they left him alone and did not care about his safety. A second question concerns the authorities of Argentina. Did they press any charges against the hotel for the death of Liam Payne? As far as it shows the answer is negative.
