A suicide bomber blew himself up in northwest Pakistan today among worshippers gathered at an Islamic school for Friday prayers, killing at least six people and wounding many others, police and rescue workers said.
The attack took place at the Islamic school where many of the top leaders of the Afghan Taliban, including the group’s founder Mullah Omar, attended.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Ένας βομβιστής αυτοκτονίας ανατινάχθηκε σήμερα στο βορειοδυτικό Πακιστάν ανάμεσα σε πιστούς που συγκεντρώθηκαν σε ισλαμικό σχολείο για την προσευχή της Παρασκευής, σκοτώνοντας τουλάχιστον έξι ανθρώπους και τραυματίζοντας πολλούς άλλους, ανέφεραν η αστυνομία και τα σωστικά συνεργεία.
Η επίθεση σημειώθηκε στο ισλαμικό σχολείο όπου φοιτούσαν πολλοί από τους κορυφαίους ηγέτες των Αφγανών Ταλιμπάν, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του ιδρυτή της οργάνωσης Μουλά Ομάρ.
Καμία οργάνωση δεν έχει αναλάβει την ευθύνη για την επίθεση.
