The Federation Council approved the law on ratifying the treaty between Russia and Belarus on security guarantees within the Union State.
The document was submitted for ratification by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the agreement, the parties undertake to support each other by all means and means agreed upon and permitted by international law, to take appropriate actions in the political, military and other spheres in cases of violation of the security of one of the parties and the Union state as a whole.

Το Συμβούλιο της Ομοσπονδίας ενέκρινε το νόμο για την επικύρωση της συνθήκης μεταξύ της Ρωσίας και της Λευκορωσίας σχετικά με τις εγγυήσεις ασφαλείας εντός του κράτους της Ένωσης.
Το έγγραφο υποβλήθηκε προς επικύρωση από τον Ρώσο πρόεδρο Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν.
