Σε επίσημη τετραήμερη επίσκεψη στην Ιταλία βρίσκεται ο βασιλιάς Κάρολος και η σύζυγός του Καμίλα, οι οποίοι έφθασαν στην χώρα τη Δευτέρα (07/04).
Σύμφωνα με το Reuters, πρόκειται για την 17η επίσημη επίσκεψη του Βρετανού μονάρχη στην Ιταλία.
Μάλιστα από αυτή την επίσκεψη η βρετανική κυβέρνηση ελπίζει ότι μπορεί να βοηθήσει στην ενίσχυση των σχέσεων με την Ιταλία, η οποία είναι ο ένατος μεγαλύτερος εμπορικός εταίρος του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου
Πέρα όμως από τον διπλωματικό χαρακτήρα της επίσκεψης, το βασιλικό ζεύγος θα γιορτάσει στην Ιταλία την 20η επέτειο του γάμου τους, όπως ανακοίνωσαν μέσω ανάρτησης στα social media.
Το ζευγάρι παντρεύτηκε στις 9 Απριλίου 2005. Ο γάμος τους έγινε την επομένη της κηδείας του Πάπα Ιωάννη Παύλου Β’, στην οποία παρευρέθηκε ο Κάρολος ως τότε διάδοχος του θρόνου.

King Charles and his wife Camilla are on an official four-day visit to Italy, arriving in the country on Monday (07/04).
According to Reuters, this is the 17th official visit of the British monarch to Italy.
In fact, from this visit, the British government hopes that it can help strengthen relations with Italy, which is the ninth largest trading partner of the United Kingdom.
Beyond the diplomatic nature of the visit, the royal couple will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in Italy, as they announced via a post on social media.
The couple married on April 9, 2005. Their wedding took place the day after the funeral of Pope John Paul II, which Charles attended as heir to the throne at the time.
