Toronto airport on lockdown - Reports for shooting (VIDEO) -

Parts of Toronto Pearson International Airport are on lockdown after an incident of shooting.

According to CTV News witnesses said that gunshots started ringing out just before 7am outside of the terminal.

So far it has been mentiones that an adult male had been shot by the police and a police officer is also injured.

Paramedics received a request to attend the airport at 6:56 a.m. and no one was transported to hospital. There is no official reports if the person involved at the incident is dead

Images on social media show cars backed up along the onramp to the departure area, with dozens of cop cars surrounding the airport.

Τμήματα του διεθνούς αεροδρομίου Pearson του Τορόντο είναι σε αποκλεισμό μετά από περιστατικό πυροβολισμών.

Σύμφωνα με το CTV News, μάρτυρες είπαν ότι οι πυροβολισμοί άρχισαν να ηχούν λίγο πριν τις 7 το πρωί έξω από τον τερματικό σταθμό.

Μέχρι στιγμής έχει αναφερθεί ότι ένας ενήλικος άνδρας πυροβολήθηκε από την αστυνομία και τραυματίστηκε επίσης ένας αστυνομικός.

Ασθενοφόρα έλαβαν αίτημα να παρευρεθούν στο αεροδρόμιο στις 6:56 π.μ. και κανείς δεν μεταφέρθηκε στο νοσοκομείο. Δεν υπάρχουν επίσημες αναφορές εάν ο εμπλεκόμενος στο περιστατικό είναι νεκρός

Οι εικόνες στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης δείχνουν αυτοκίνητα ακινητοποιημένα στην περιοχή αναχώρησης, με δεκάδες αυτοκίνητα της αστυνομίας να περιβάλλουν το αεροδρόμιο.
