Two Greek orthodox christians in the village of al-Jamasliyye in Syria’s Wadi al-Nasara (Valley of the Christians) were brutally murdered inside their house, on December 13.
As media report, Samaan Satme and Helena Khashouf were found dead in their home. Satme was beheaded and Khashouf was shot to death. Originally it was indicated that this crime was a “burglary gone wrong” but according to the relatives of the two victims the motive for this brutal murder was that the deceaseds were christians.
According to greekcitytimes, local reports tell about “random murders” in Homs and the coast continue, often fitting the pattern of assailants entering a house to murder the victims.
