Thursday evening in the city of Thessaloniki and the news that the Christmas tree will be placed on Aristotelous Squares gave a very good reason to pay a down town visit.
This time the Christmas quest started at Palaion Patron Germanou street, a vertical street to Tsimiski str that is full with all kinds of shops, restaurants and cafeterias. And yes the Christmas spirit is already there..

Heading to Tsimiski street again, a mall is a place to search for a jolly Christmas atmosphere.

Perhaps the “Christmas-meter” was not very high at the Mall – at least for now- but the next window shop on Tsimiski street was really breath taking.

Well, the next video has nothing to do with thesnewsline.com quest for Christmas trees, Santas, ornaments ext but honestly it caught our attention during the walk and certainly it is very very interesting!
Back to Christmas, on Thursday evening (21/11) Thessaloniki’s Christmas tree was placed at Aristotelous Square. This fir tree comes from Taxiarchis (Halkidiki) and have no doudt that after the completion of the decoration, it will become the main protagonist in the heart of the city.

Leaving the gigantic tree behind, the next photos come from Mitropoleos street, where teddy bears, shiny ornaments and of course the traditional hanging or placed lights bring a smile on visitors and locals.

Until our next ho-ho-ho quest, keep smiling cause Christmas are on the way.
